This paper presents an effective solution for the short-term hydrothermal generation scheduling (STHS) problem using integration of wind and photovoltaic power (PV) system. Wind PV are integrated into system to minimize total fuel cost thermal units. In this paper, lightning attachment procedure optimization algorithm (LAPO) is employed solve STHS The proposed method applied solving five test systems with different characteristics, considering valve-point loading impact unit. first third include hydro units only, rest consist integrating power-generating inspect effect renewable energy sources in selected systems. simulation results compared other studied methods. It found that superior, it has ability obtain best solutions respect methods implemented problem.
